Mumbai. The murder of NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui has shaken everyone. Everyone from common people to VIPs is upset with this incident. Everyone has the same question in their mind that when the leader of the ruling party and ex-minister is not safe then what will happen to the common people? Amidst all this, the leader of the opposition in the Maharashtra assembly and senior Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar has given a shocking statement. He raised questions on the law and order in Mumbai and compared Maharashtra with Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. He raised the question of whether Maharashtra is going in the direction of Bihar and UP.
Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Assembly Vijay Wadettiwar has raised questions on the law and order situation in Mumbai. On the murder of Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Baba Siddiqui, he said that Maharashtra is going on the path of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in terms of crime. Wadettiwar has demanded the resignation of the state Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He said that Fadnavis should take responsibility for this incident. Wadettiwar further said that the police are investigating the case by arresting the attackers, but today gangsters and criminals are openly firing in public places in Mumbai. If the leader of the ruling party can be killed, then a big question arises on the safety of common people. He said that is Mumbai again becoming the center of crime and that is Maharashtra going on the path of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The Congress leader said that now he is afraid of this.
Why only UP-Bihar?
A big leader was murdered in the country's economic capital and a responsible leader of Maharashtra is taking the names of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Police administration is a state issue. The concerned state has authority over it. In such a situation, there is a need to strengthen the local police and intelligence system and not to unnecessarily drag another state into this matter. On the other hand, Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar said, 'This is an unfortunate incident. I am confident that the government will take strict action. The legal process is going on and the police is doing its job. I don't think it is right to put any kind of pressure on them.'
