The Delhi Assembly elections have not been announced yet, but all the three main parties have announced most of their candidates. The most interesting contest is on the New Delhi Assembly seat. Where BJP has fielded former MP and former Chief Minister's son Parvesh Verma against former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Congress has fielded Sheila Dikshit's son Sandeep Dikshit. While Sandeep Dikshit has to take revenge for his mother's wounds, Kejriwal has an old rivalry with Parvesh Verma. In such a situation, the caste equation here will matter a lot. Today we will try to explain the story of the New Delhi seat to you in terms of statistics.

Caste equation
1. The number of Brahmin voters is quite high in the New Delhi assembly seat. It has been considered a supporter of the BJP, but for some years Congress and then Aam Aadmi Party have made inroads in this class. Punjabi and Khatri communities have also played an influential role in this seat. The number of Dalit voters is also quite good.

2. Sandeep Dixit's mother Sheila Dixit was an MLA from here thrice. The Dixit family has a special connection with the voters of this seat. There is a bond of affinity. Parvesh Verma can get the benefit of BJP's traditional voters. BJP is very hopeful about the government employees, Brahmin community, Punjabis and Dalits here. If the votes get divided, then there can be problems for Arvind Kejriwal.
