According to the information, the teacher, his wife, and both children died on the spot. Apart from the local police, forces from many police stations are present on the spot. The name of the deceased teacher of Amethi is Sunil Kumar. He had come to Amethi after being transferred from Unchahar some time ago.

He said that on August 18, these people had registered a case against Chandan in Raebareli police station under SC/ST and molestation sections. No incident of robbery has been reported. The police have found 9 shells and one live cartridge on the spot. The police have taken them into their possession.
