India Post GDS Result 2024: Candidates who applied for GDS recruitment in Indian Post are now waiting for the result. The application process for these posts ran from 15 July to 5 August. Let us inform you that no examination was conducted for this recruitment. A merit list will be prepared for selection in this recruitment and the candidates will be shortlisted. This merit list will be prepared based on 10th marks. 

Verification will be done after the release of the merit list 

The merit list will be uploaded on the India Post GDS Recruitment website i.e. indiapostgdsonline.gov.in and indiapostgdsonline.cept.gov.in. After release, candidates will be able to check it by visiting the official website. According to media reports, the merit list can be released soon. However, there is no official information about when and at what time the merit list will be released. Once the merit list is released, the candidates will be verified, in which the documents of the candidates will be checked.

How many posts will be recruited? 

Through this recruitment campaign, 44228 posts will be recruited in 23 postal circles across the country. These include- 

• ABPM 
• GDS 
• BPM

What after the result?

All the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the physical verification round. The dates for this will be informed to the candidates through SMS. Candidates will have to submit an undertaking in the prescribed format about the liability in case of submission of fake/wrong information/details in the form.

How much salary will I get? 

There are different salaries for different posts in this recruitment. You can see point-wise below. 

• ABPM/GDS- Rs.10,000-24,470 per month
• BPM- Rs 12,000-29,380 per month
