'You are a fool if you have not invested in Gujarat'
This post states that Ratan Tata was made the chief guest at the 2007 Vibrant Gujarat Investors Summit. He expressed his feelings among the people and said, "This is the right time to invest in Gujarat. You are a fool if you have not invested in Gujarat yet, you are a fool, because it is the fastest-growing state."

Tata's Nano project was stuck in Singur.
Exactly one year later, Tata acted on his advice. The much-awaited launch of Tata Motors' Nano, the world's most economical car, was stuck in limbo. The project was facing tough challenges in West Bengal's Singur. Tata Motors took the difficult decision of withdrawing from West Bengal, due to which the future of Nano was stuck in limbo.

Deal with the Gujarat government within 96 hours.
As soon as the decision to abandon Singur was announced, several states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra came up with offers. But, none could match the swift and brilliant offer of the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Realizing the economic value and benefits of hosting Tata, CM Modi immediately offered land to the company at Sanand, just 20 km from Ahmedabad, at better rates. Besides, the Gujarat government extended a loan on favorable terms. Then, within just 96 hours, all the administrative procedures were completed and the deal was finalized.

'Aapde ahia na chhiye, ane aapde ahia pacha aavya'
On Tata Motors' entry into the state, Ratan Tata had said, "I thank Gujarat for making me our home so soon." On 7 October 2008, Tata Motors officially announced the transfer of its Nano plant to Gujarat. In front of then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, Ratan Tata had described the moment as a "homecoming". Speaking in Gujarati, Ratan Tata said, "Aapde ahia na choice, ane made ahia Pacha aavya." (We are from here and we have come back.)
