On the night of August 6 and the morning of August 7, we did not give up, our efforts did not stop till the end, we did not surrender but the clock stopped and the time was not right. My luck was also bad.

The goal I wanted to achieve for my team, countrymen, and family remained incomplete. This loss will be felt for the rest of my life. This is a loss that will never be filled and will never be the same. Perhaps under different circumstances, I may find myself playing till 2032 because the fight and wrestling will always remain in me. I cannot predict what the future has hidden for me and what awaits me in this journey of life but I am sure of one thing that I will always keep fighting for what I think is right and what I believe in.

I wanted to wave the Indian flag at this Olympics and have a picture of the national flag that truly represents its values ​​and restores its dignity. I felt that by doing this I could tell in the right way what the flag and wrestling have gone through. I was hoping to show this to the people of India."
