UP Board Exam 2025: Asia's largest examination body, the Board of Secondary Education i.e. UP Board has intensified preparations for the High School and Intermediate Examination 2025. The board has prepared to take strict steps to conduct a copy-free examination. To prevent copying at the examination centres, the UP Board has made a big change in the design of the answer sheets. Due to this, old answer sheets will not be able to be used. This time the candidates will write the serial number in a square circle on the cover page of the answer sheet. Earlier, the serial number was written on the blank plain space.

Along with changing the location of the bar code and monogram, the UP Board has also changed the colour of the details recorded on the cover page of the answer sheet. 27,51,140 students are registered for the high school examination and 26,98,446 students are registered for the intermediate examination. UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh has set strict standards for determining the centres to conduct a fair, transparent and cheating-free examination. Along with testing the examination centres, the arrangements are also being made foolproof.

The colour of the cover of the answer sheets has been changed.
The colour of the details written on the cover of the answer sheets of the high school examination of the year 2025 has been changed to dark magenta pink. The colour of its B copy will be dark red. In the year 2024 examination, the colour of the main answer sheet was dark brown, while the colour of the B answer sheet was dark violet. Similarly, in the intermediate, the colour of the main answer sheet of the year 2025 has been changed to brown, while the colour of the B answer sheet will remain violet.

Answer sheets will have a bar code here.
Apart from this, IB-25 has been perforated on the left side of the cover page of the main and B answer sheets of high school and intermediate. Bar code has been printed on the first and last page of the cover page of both the answer sheets of both the classes. The logo is printed on different pages on the main answer sheet of high school and intermediate. It is printed on the top of page three in high school and on the top of page 10 in intermediate.

Page numbers will be at the bottom.
Along with this, this time the page numbers have been printed at the bottom of the inner pages of the answer sheets of both the classes, whereas last time they were printed at the top. The main answer sheet for high school will be of 16 pages including the cover page and that of intermediate will be of 32 pages including the cover page. The answer sheet B of both the classes will be of 12 pages including the cover page
