Regarding this, Bokaro's senior Ayurvedic doctor Dr. Rajesh Pathak (more than 16 years of experience in Patanjali Ayurveda and Shuddhi Ayurveda) had a special conversation with Local 18 and shared important information about the problems caused by spices on an empty stomach and the measures to prevent them.

Ayurvedic doctor Dr. Rajesh said that after the Corona period, people's awareness towards health has increased. But some people use cinnamon, fenugreek, celery, black pepper, cloves and spices on an empty stomach to get immediate health benefits. This can have harmful consequences and can also cause serious stomach related diseases.

Cinnamon 
Cinnamon is usually used for tea. In such a situation, drinking cinnamon tea in large quantities on an empty stomach in the morning can disturb the balance of the stomach and cause problems like heartburn and acidity. Apart from this, ulcers can occur in the mouth.

Fenugreek
Fenugreek seeds are generally known for controlling diabetes, but eating fenugreek on an empty stomach can cause gastric irritation and stomach pain. Apart from this, people suffering from asthma can also have respiratory problems and sometimes serious problems like ulcers can arise.

Celery:
Celery is very beneficial for digestion, but consuming celery on an empty stomach can cause gas problems, because its nature is very hot and consuming it continuously on an empty stomach can cause a burning sensation in the stomach.

Black pepper
, garam masala works to boost the body's metabolism but consuming it on an empty stomach can cause stomach irritation and acidity. Its negative properties can harm the stomach and excessive use of black pepper on an empty stomach can increase the problem of allergies.

Cloves
