Baku (Azerbaijan). Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashed in Aktau, Kazakhstan. 38 people died in this accident, while 29 other passengers were injured. After the accident, many things started being said. When Russia was accused of shooting down the plane, Moscow initially rejected it. Later on Saturday, December 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin apologized to Azerbaijan in this matter and accepted his mistake. After that, a big statement of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has come out. He officially held Russia responsible for the plane crash and accused it of talking nonsense for three days and fabricating a fake narrative.
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has condemned Russia on Sunday, 29 December. Looking at his strong statement, it seems that President Putin's apology has had no effect on Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has also shown its anger to Russia. President Ilham said, ‘The plane that crashed in Aktau (Kazakhstan) was damaged due to ground firing. Firing was done on the plane in Russian territory. The fact is that the Azerbaijani plane was damaged from outside in Russian territory. This happened near the city of Grozny and the plane lost control. Our plane went out of control due to electronic warfare.’
'Kept talking nonsense for 3 days'
Azerbaijan's President Ilham has made serious allegations against Russia. He said, 'The unfortunate thing is that for the first three days of the accident, Russia kept talking nonsense. Russian government institutions said that the accident happened due to a gas cylinder blast in the plane. This saddened us and we were stunned. This clearly showed that Russia wanted to hide it.' Let us tell you that the plane flying from Baku was going to Grozny. The route of the plane was changed due to bad weather. This plane later crashed in Aktau, Kazakhstan. 38 people lost their lives in the accident.
Apology should have been made immediately -
More than three dozen people died in the Azerbaijan plane crash. This accident on Christmas Day shook Azerbaijan. President Ilham Aliyev said that the plane was shot down intentionally. Russia should have immediately apologized, admitting its guilt. However, this was not done. Let us tell you that there has been a war going on between Russia and Ukraine for months, in such a situation the operation of planes on that air route is considered dangerous.
