Universities have been established in all 18 divisions. Now the target of establishing a university in the district will be taken.
There are universities in 35 districts
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that at present there is availability of universities in 35 districts, and the private sector can become a big partner for universities in the remaining unserved districts. Private-sector financing should be encouraged in higher education. At the same time, given the increasing demand for higher education in the state, private investment can be helpful in government efforts to increase access to higher education. This will increase the number of institutions, courses, and seats available for students, as well as it will also help in efforts to increase the quality of education and research.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the new policy should have provision for additional incentives for setting up universities in aspirational districts. Give it priority. Similarly, keep special incentive provisions on the proposal for campuses of the world's top-ranked universities.
