Effective Tips for Acidity: Sometimes after eating heavy food, the stomach gets stretched or bloated, this is a normal thing but in some people, it becomes like a disease that as soon as they eat something, their stomach starts bloating and expanding like a roof. It seems as if someone is pushing the stomach from inside and it is about to burst. This happens every time while eat food. If this is happening to you too, then know that there is more acid in your stomach. When the acid starts getting more, the sphincter in the food pipe near the throat starts getting loose and due to this the acid formed in the stomach starts rising upwards. But it is not able to come out completely due to which a lot of acid and gas starts accumulating in the stomach. If this is happening to you too, then there is no need to worry, it can be cured with some simple measures.

Causes of stomach tautness:
First, let us know why stomach tautness occurs. On the news, gastroenterologist Dr. Pradeepta Shetty says that the main reason for this is not having the right time to eat or not eating at the same time. Apart from this, too much stress, smoking, excessive caffeine consumption, too much spicy food, or oily food are the main reasons for stomach bloating or stomach becoming flabby. This is called acidity but in medical terms, it is called gastroesophageal reflux disease -GERD. Another big reason for this is the stomach being empty or not eating food. When the stomach is empty, more acid starts forming in it. Therefore, first of all, no matter how much your stomach bloats, start eating less and less frequently.

How to prevent bloating of the stomach

1. Do not stay hungry- Doctors say that first of all ensure that your stomach is not empty. Keep eating some snacks, fruits,, or something else every two hours. If the stomach is empty, more acid will be produced.

2. Take time to eat- When you eat and swallow food directly, it causes a lot of trouble in digestion and during this time more acid is also produced in the stomach. So chew the food properly before eating.

3. Do not eat unhealthy food - Do not eat acidic food. Do not eat food that you cannot digest. Do not eat oily, spicy, salty, or packaged food. Instead, consume more curd, buttermilk, etc.

4. Use of oil in food - Do not use too much oil or ghee in food. That is, if you fry vegetables in too much oil, it will cause more acidity.

5. Stay away from stress - Stress is the main reason for many diseases. So keep doing work that does not cause stress. If you are stressed, then practice yoga and meditation to remove it.

6. Exercise- Apart from diet and abstinence, exercise is most important. Without exercise, the belly will keep on becoming flabby. Therefore, exercise regularly. Do walk at least a few kilometers.
