Simdega. CISF head constable Rajesh, deputed in Simdega for conducting the state assembly elections, openly fired at Simdega bus stand and other places, due to which people are in panic. Sadar CO Imtiaz Ahmed showed courage and caught the drunk head constable and his companion, the alleged DSP. However, he did not talk to the media. To conduct the assembly elections peacefully, the CISF team has been accommodated by the administration in Simdega at the Aparna Hotel in the city. It is being told that a minister of Chhattisgarh is also staying in this hotel.

On Sunday night around 9 o'clock, a CISF constable along with his DSP openly fired in three crowded places. As soon as the information was received, the local police took him and the DSP into custody. Both of them were drunk. Local people said that the CISF head constable fired indiscriminately at the bus stand Chowk, market, and other places. He was in the car with his DSP Anil. He fired in the air and allegedly threatened some people. First, he fired several rounds near Hotel Aparna, then at the bus stand and Bhattitoli in the city. People informed the police about this and the police took both of them into custody. Rifles have also been confiscated from them.

On this incident, Assistant Commandant Virendra said that information about all the incidents is being taken. These two soldiers are in police custody and they are being questioned. Both the police and CISF will inform the press about this. However, Virendra was seen avoiding the questions of the media.
