New Delhi. A child of just 7 months, but something happened that the German government snatched her from her parents. They are not letting them raise her. They are not letting them take her home. The parents are yearning to meet her. They have wandered from door to door to bring her home. It has been almost four years. They are tired of pleading. But now the Indian government has made a life-long effort. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself talked to the Chancellor of Germany about this. The Ministry of External Affairs is making every effort to bring the child back, so that she can once again play in her mother's lap. But there are some obstacles. Let us know what the whole matter is.

PM Narendra Modi has also spoken to the Chancellor of Germany regarding the girl who was forcibly admitted to the rehabilitation center by German authorities just 7 months after her birth. Her parents are wandering from door to door for their daughter. Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that PM Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz discussed the case of Baby Ariha Shah in Delhi. Addressing the press conference, Vikram Misri said that India is keeping a very close watch on the case of Ariha Shah at various levels. Baby Ariha Shah has been kept in Germany for upbringing. He said that Foreign Minister S Jaishankar had strongly raised this issue in front of his counterpart in Germany. This issue was also raised in the meeting held on Friday.

Baby Ariha Case
Baby Ariha was born in 2021 in Berlin, the capital of Germany, to Bhavesh Shah, who moved to Berlin with Dhara in 2018. Earlier on 23 September 2021, German authorities had dragged Ariha Shah's parents into a case when the girl was just seven months old. It was alleged that her parents - Dhara and Bhavesh - had abused her.

German authorities wrongly suspect
Ariha Shah was then placed in the custody of Germany's Jugendamt, or youth welfare office, when she suffered an accidental injury. Her continued presence there has become an irritant in bilateral relations. Dhara had said that after Ariha was born, her grandmother came to visit the family in Berlin. She accidentally hurt the baby, causing external genital injuries. Ariha's family claimed that she was taken to a hospital. Following this, German authorities were alerted as it was suspected to be a case of sexual assault.
