Flipkart Festive Sale : E-commerce giant Flipkart expects to generate around one lakh new jobs across the country during its upcoming festive sale ' The Big Billion Days 2024 '. Flipkart said in a statement on Wednesday that ahead of the upcoming festive sale, it has launched 11 new fulfillment centers in nine cities, taking the number of these centers in the country to 83.

The Walmart group company said that Flipkart is going to create more than one lakh new jobs within its supply chain across the country. This is aimed at strengthening operational capabilities and accelerating economic growth during this year's festive season.

Flipkart said the new jobs will be across various areas of the supply chain, including inventory managers, warehouse associates, logistics coordinators, grocery partners, and delivery drivers.

Jobs created by e-commerce companies during festive sales are often seasonal in nature. Flipkart said it will also organize extensive skilling and training programs for new employees ahead of the festive season.
