A fake ED team reached a posh area of ​​the metropolis to raid. The fake officers also took the victim to a bank to withdraw Rs 5 crore and then absconded with it. The victim has informed the ED about the matter. The central investigation agency was also stunned.

The central agency said that sensational information was given to the Delhi Zonal Office of ED. The ED office received information on 22 October 2024 at around noon that some people had come to a raid by claiming to be ED officials. The victim said that Ashoka Avenue located in DLF Farms in the Chhatarpur area was told. This information made the ED officers suspicious.

ED said that the victim said that the team of fake ED officers took him to the Kotak Mahindra Bank branch in Hauz Khas. The person said that the fake officers intended to abscond after withdrawing Rs 5 crore from the bank. Now Delhi Police has registered a case in this matter.

The victim told ED and police officials that on the night of 21st October, 7 people came in two cars. They introduced themselves as ED officials and started the raid. The businessman said that three people talked to him while the others were wearing masks. The fake officials asked him why he was continuously withdrawing money from his bank account. Meanwhile, he became suspicious.
