Sikkim government was cheated of Rs 900 crore!
Martin came on the radar of investigating agency ED in the year 2023 itself, when he allegedly caused a loss of more than Rs 900 crore to the Sikkim government through the sale of a fake lottery in Kerala. While taking action in this case by the investigating agency, property worth about Rs 457 crore of him and his company was seized. According to the source of the investigating agency, Martin has a factory in Faridabad, Haryana, where the work of printing lottery goes on. Lottery printing work was going on in a very big way at this location. But after finding out all the inputs in this case, the action of search operation was carried out here as well. If we talk about the lottery business, then there is no ban on the lottery in cities like Punjab, West Bengal, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Goa, Maharashtra, Nagaland, etc., so this lottery business is very popular in those locations, but the lottery is banned in Delhi-NCR.
