School Closed: Due to the increasing cold wave, schools have been closed on 6th and 7th January in Ranchi district. This has given relief to the students due to extreme cold. Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri has issued orders giving priority to the safety of the students in view of the ongoing cold wave and extreme cold in the district. According to the order, all government high, middle, primary schools and private schools in the district will remain completely closed on 06.01.2025 and 07.01.2025.
Safety of students is a priority, but teachers will be present in the school. Teachers and other staff have been instructed to carry out regular work. In the order issued, it has been clarified that despite the school being closed, the headmaster, teachers and other staff of government schools will have to be present in the school at the scheduled time and perform regular academic and administrative work.
The Deputy Commissioner has taken this decision in view of the cold wave. This step has been taken in view of the problems caused by the cold. The Deputy Commissioner said that due to the cold wave, students were facing difficulty in coming and going to school. Keeping these circumstances in mind, this step has been taken so that students can be saved from the wrath of cold.
All the headmasters and staff have been ordered to ensure compliance with the instructions. The Deputy Commissioner also said that the school administration will ensure that the order is followed properly. Teachers and staff will attend the school and conduct school work smoothly.
