Sawan Monday Fast Udyapan Method (Sawan Somvar Vrat Udyapan Vidhi In Hindi)
- On the day you want to conclude the fast of Sawan Monday, get up early in the morning, take, a bath, and wear light-colored colored clothes.
- After this, purify the place of worship in the house thoroughly with Gangajal. Establish a square pavilion by placing 4 banana leaves as pillars there.
- After this, decorate the pavilion all around with flowers and mango leaves.
- Place all the materials at the place of worship and sit on a clean seat, facing east.
- After this, place a wooden stool in the middle of the pavilion. Spread a clean white cloth on it.
- Then install the idols of Mother Parvati and Lord Shiva on this platform.
- Also, place the Moon in another vessel on the puja platform.
- After this, start the puja by lighting a ghee lamp.
- During the puja, an offer a garland of flowers to God and offer Panchamrit.
- If there is a Shivling in the house then perform Jalabhishek on it.
- Offer Belpatra, Dhatura, and Bhang to Lord Shiva.
- After this, read the story of Sawan Monday fast and perform Aarti at the end.
- Then offer food to God and distribute the Prasad among everyone.
- After the puja, eat your own food.

Donations must be made on the day of Udyaapan of Sawan Monday. On this day, one should offer a sari to Goddess Parvati and a dhoti kurta to Lord Shiva and donate it to a Pandit.
