Ramgarh. In a tragic incident near Muram Kala village of Patel Chowk on National Highway 33 in the Ramgarh district of Jharkhand, three girls died after being crushed under a truck. One girl is seriously injured. The truck driver is also seriously injured. The accident took place on NH-33 near Muram Kala village of Patel Chowk in Ramgarh. It was told that a speeding truck loaded with rice went out of control and overturned. During this time, four girls going to the temple for worship from the village got crushed under it. Three of them died while one girl was seriously injured in this accident. All the girls were going to the Maya Tungri temple from Muram Kala village to worship Durga Puja. During this time, a truck loaded with rice was coming at a high speed from Ranchi.
The driver suddenly applied brakes after seeing the jam on the road but he lost control. The truck overturned down the slope and all the four girls got trapped under it and this tragic incident took place. After the incident, there was mourning in the entire village. The age of all the girls is between 8 to 18 years. After the accident, all the injured were sent to Sadar Hospital Ramgarh. Seriously injured Naina Kumari was sent to RIMS Ranchi. The deceased include Manisha Kumari, Mamta Kumari, and Pratima Kumari. Immediately after the accident, a large number of police forces reached here under the leadership of SDPO. The situation was brought under control. The villagers have expressed anger over this incident.
Villagers say that vehicles come at very high speeds from Chutupalu Valley to Patel Chowk, due to which accidents are happening here. There is a need to control the speed of vehicles. Ramgarh SDPO Parmeshwar Prasad, who reached the spot, said that the seriously injured girl has been referred to RIMS Ranchi. A truck carrying rice was coming from Ranchi to Ramgarh. It went out of control and overturned near Mulayam Kala village, under which these girls died. The happiness of Durga Puja turned into mourning.
