A major update has emerged in the Iran-Israel war, which can increase Iran's problems. Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei wanted Muslim countries to help them. Provide arms and ammunition to Hamas and Hezbollah. But now Muslim countries have also started distancing themselves from Hamas. Qatar has clearly said that Hamas is a terrorist group and cannot be helped. Many other countries including Saudi Arabia have already distanced themselves from them.
According to the report of Jerusalem Post, Qatar has made it clear to Hamas that it cannot help them in any way. Recently, the US Foreign Minister met the Qatari leaders. After this, Qatar has taken this decision. Sources related to the matter told KAN that Qatar had already made it clear that Qatar wants the release of the hostages. For this, it was also ready to negotiate. But Egyptian sources told the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar that Qatari leaders had a conversation with senior Hamas leaders on November 5. In which this message was given.
Why distance was created?
Qatar and Egypt were trying hard to stop the war. They were also involved in peace talks. But Hamas ruined all their efforts. Whenever it seemed that the talks were going to happen, the hostages would be released and the war would stop, Hamas leaders created hurdles. They put new conditions. Because of this, Qatar was feeling helpless. This is the reason why it has distanced itself from Hamas.
70% of the dead were women and children
Meanwhile, a United Nations report has come out. In which it has been said that about 70% of those who died due to the war in Gaza were women and children. This happened because the Israeli army dropped bombs in densely populated areas. However, some deaths may also be due to Hamas attacks, as many of their bombs fell in this area. The United Nations Human Rights Commission said that it has investigated 8,119 people killed in Gaza from November 2023 to April 2024. It was found that 44 percent of the dead were children and 26 percent were women. Most of the children who died were between five and 9 years of age.
