The reason behind this is said to be the increasing outbreak of monkeypox virus in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Let us tell you that the virus has also spread to neighboring countries. The virus has now spread from Congo to countries like Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda.

A new variant of Ampox is spreading

According to media reports, the virus that is now spreading around the world is a new variant of monkeypox. Its name is Clade lb. This new variant is currently spreading in Congo and neighboring countries. Seeing its seriousness, the WHO has given instructions to take immediate action. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says that a coordinated international response is needed to stop the outbreak of the virus.

How does this dangerous virus spread?

Let us tell you that like other virus infections, ampox also spreads through close contact between people. Many types of activities can be involved in its spread.
