The ally National People's Party (NPP) has announced to withdrawal of support from the Manipur government. NPP supremo and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has written a letter to BJP national president JP Nadda announcing the withdrawal of support. Now the biggest question is what effect will the withdrawal of support by the NPP have on the N. Biren Singh government.

Amidst the unrest in Manipur, political uproar has also increased. The atmosphere has heated up due to the withdrawal of support by BJP's ally NPP. In a letter written to BJP National President JP Nadda, NPP President Conrad Sangma has talked about withdrawing support immediately. NPP said, 'The Manipur government led by Chief Minister N. Mathematics of Manipur Assembly
Now the question arises whether the withdrawal of support by the NPP will lead to the fall of the BJP government in Manipur. What will be the effect of the withdrawal of support by Conrad Sangma on the politics of the state and the current government? There are a total of 60 MLAs in the Manipur Legislative Assembly. 31 MLAs are required to form a government with a clear majority. In the assembly elections held in the year 2022, BJP got 32 seats. In such a situation, BJP was and is capable of forming the government on its own. Conrad Sangma's party had announced to support BJP. Seven MLAs of the NPP have been elected. In this way, the withdrawal of support by the NPP is not going to make any difference to the health of the BJP government in Manipur.
