A complaint has been filed against South director and former army officer Major Ravi, who visited the disaster-affected area in Wayanad, for misusing the army uniform. According to the Defense Service Regulations, the use of a military uniform by a retired person is a violation and Major Ravi has misused the military uniform. Retired army officer RA Arun has filed a complaint with the central and state governments, police, and the Ministry of Defense.

The complainant said that Major Ravi's behavior encouraged the misuse of his Army uniform and raised security issues. He said that he strongly condemns Major Ravi's actions, which also include taking photos and sharing them on social media. In fact, Major Ravi's group along with Mohanlal had reached Wayanad yesterday.
