It has been said that Sandeep Ghosh used to take a 40 percent commission in the matter of transfer and posting. There was also a commission for getting the failed medical students passed. This was a complete racket. Later, his commission came down to 10 percent. Because this racket grew a lot. This money was distributed among many doctors.

According to sources in the CBI, a doctor named Abhik Ghosh of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital has been identified. Abhik Ghosh is the mastermind of the illegal transfer and posting case. According to sources, the CBI is looking for many doctors
involved in this entire racket.

Sources also said that Sandeep Ghosh used to take 20 to 30 percent commission for passing every tender. In this connection, the CBI has arrested Biplab Singha and Suman Hazra. CBI is also investigating the details of Singha's company Maa Tara Traders. Hazra deals in medicines. CBI is also keeping an eye on his shop in Howrah.

According to the report, Ghosh had changed many rules related to inviting and giving tenders so that his own people could benefit. CBI claims that many vendors are also involved in this whole matter. This is a very big racket which was playing with crores of rupees.

On Wednesday, Sandeep Ghosh challenged the decision of the Kolkata High Court to hand over the investigation of the financial irregularities in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital to the CBI in the Supreme Court. The matter will be heard on September 6. He has said that his side was not heard while handing over the case to the CBI.
