More than 2 crore women conceive every year in India.
Statistics show that girls in India become pregnant at an early age. The Indian government needs to prevent pregnancy-related mortality and diseases among teenagers. Women who conceive in adolescence are at a higher risk of infections such as eclampsia, and puerperal endometritis. Let us tell you that the early symptoms of pregnancy include bleeding, vaginal discharge, missed periods, frequent visits to the toilet, heaviness in the breasts, nausea, mild fever, and abdominal pain.
Let us tell you that out of all the unwanted pregnancies that happen every year in the world, more than one in seven cases happens in India. Every day in developing countries, 20,000 girls below the age of 18 give birth to children. Compared to women of the age of 20-24, giving birth to a child by girls below the age of 18 is a risk to the life of both. If we believe the information available on the internet, the number of Indian women getting pregnant is more than any other country in the world. Earlier China was ahead, but the situation there has improved a lot due to population control.
