HMP Virus Impact on Share Market: The stock market is witnessing a decline again today. However, decline in the market is not a new thing, but this time the HMPV virus found in China is also a reason behind the sell-off. In such a situation, investors are afraid of conditions like the Corona period. Because, during February and March 2020, the decline started after the first corona virus case was found in India and after this, due to Covid-19, there was a massive sell-off in the global market including India.

Market experts are also expressing concern over cases related to the HMPV virus. In fact, the Indian Council of Medical Research has detected two cases of HMPV virus in Bangalore's Baptist Hospital.

These reasons are also responsible for the decline

Apart from this, another reason for the decline in the market is believed to be the start of the earnings season. IT company Tata Consultancy Services will present its third quarter results starting on January 9. Vinod Nair, head of research at Geojit Financial Services, told Reuters, "There is a selling sentiment in the market due to the strong US dollar and high valuations."

Apart from this, the strength of the dollar is also causing trouble for the stock market. Actually, investors are waiting for a more clear view of the Federal Reserve regarding interest rates. Because of this, the dollar is currently trading strongly.

Let us tell you that today selling is dominating every sector of the market. The biggest decline is being seen in government banks. After this, all the major sectoral indices including Nifty Metal, Nifty Realty, Nifty Energy and Bank Nifty are trading in the red.
