FDA Approves First Nasal Spray To Treat Allergy: It is very common for people to have allergy problems. Many people experience allergic skin reactions due to bacteria or viruses, while many people also face skin allergies due to certain types of food, foreign substances or insect stings, etc. When this happens, people also face problems like swelling in the skin, hives, vomiting, difficulty in breathing, etc. This type of allergic reaction is called anaphylaxis in medical language. This is a serious condition related to allergy. In this situation, our immunity system suddenly reacts to some medicines, stings or food, etc. Due to this, people also have to face a lot of trouble and discomfort. If the condition is serious, the person may also need to be hospitalized.

The good news is that now the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a nasal spray to deal with severe allergic conditions such as anaphylaxis. This spray can help provide allergy relief in an emergency situation. It is the first vaccine-free alternative to an injection like an EpiPen.

Approved for adults

Let us tell you that at present the use of nasal spray has been approved only for adults and older children in emergencies. It cannot be used for younger children. The FDA says that the spray of drug manufacturer ARS Pharmaceuticals Inc. can be used as a treatment in emergencies for adults and older children.
