According to sources, the meeting between the two can take place only when Prime Minister Narendra Modi goes to Kazan city of Russia for the BRICS summit. Iran wants to have a separate meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many issues can be discussed in this. This time Russia is organizing BRICS and it has invited Iran as a special invited member.

India's stand on war:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called the Hamas attack on Israel on 7 October a terrorist attack. India has always said that the hostages should be released at any cost. India has always insisted on finding diplomatic ways regarding the Hezbollah-Israel conflict. India has been saying that this issue should be resolved through dialogue only. PM Modi has also been appealing to the world to help the people going through difficult situations in Palestine.

A few days ago also India has sent many things for the people of Gaza. India has always stood with them. It has promised to give 5 million dollars to help them.

3- Under the leadership of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, India has held talks with the leaders of both Israel and Palestine. An appeal has been made to end the violence. The war has been called for an immediate stop. India has been a supporter of Israel and Palestine since the beginning. It believes in an independent Palestinian state and also believes in Israel. It wants both countries to live peacefully.

4- Last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in New York. He expressed concern over the situation in Gaza. Many meanings were drawn from his meeting with Mahmoud apart from the United Nations General Assembly. India wanted to send the message that it stands firmly with Palestine.
