Maharashtra Exit Poll: The results of the exit polls for the Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections have come out. In almost all the exit polls, the BJP alliance is seen forming the government in both the states. But, the result of the Haryana elections last month had spoiled the taste of Congress. This time too, the exit polls have predicted the power of Mahayuti in Maharashtra and NDA in Jharkhand. There is a close contest between the ruling Mahayuti and the opposition Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) on the 288 seats of Maharashtra. But, if there is a slight variation in the vote percentage on November 23, the results can be interesting like Haryana.
Because, in the years 2004 and 2009, the UPA government was formed by getting 60 percent to about 64 percent votes. Whereas, in the years 2014 and 2019, the NDA came into majority by getting 61 percent to 63 percent votes. In the year 2004, the UPA formed the government by getting 2.49 percent more votes than the NDA. In the year 2009 also, the UPA got 3.94 percent more votes than the NDA. The same trend continued in 2014 as well, when the NDA got 63.08 percent votes. Whereas, the UPA got 3.58 percent less votes than the NDA. Whereas, in the Maharashtra Assembly elections of the year 2019, the NDA got 61.1 percent votes. The UPA got 1.98 percent less votes than the NDA in this election.
BJP is doing well in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.
The final data of the Election Commission is yet to come in this election. But, by 5 pm, 58.22 percent votes had been cast. It is believed that the final figure of the Election Commission may be around 62 percent. Therefore, even if the voting percentage remains the same, there is little chance of any major difference in the exit poll results. This can be estimated by looking at the past records. However, the result of Haryana cannot be ruled out either.
Who will get the shock of Haryana?
Let us tell you that in the exit polls, a close contest is being seen between Mahavikas Aghadi and Mahayuti in Mumbai, Konkan, Vidarbha, Marathwada and entire West Maharashtra. It is still difficult to say which party has the upper hand in this area. , Because the se, Mahayuti is seen leading in the exit polls. In such a situation, it has become clear that CM Yogi's slogan 'Bantenge to Katenge' has destroyed the stronghold of Congress.
Who will win on 23 November?
The exit poll results clearly indicate that once again a Mahayuti government can be formed in Maharashtra. However, in the Haryana elections, almost all exit polls gave a clear majority to the Congress. But, in the final result, the Congress lost and the BJP returned to power for the third consecutive time. In such a situation, until the final results are out, the Congress and the BJP will be holding their breath. At present, there is a wave of happiness in the BJP camp due to the exit poll results, while there is sadness in the Congress camp.
Overall, most exit polls are clearly indicating that in Maharashtra, Mahayuti (BJP, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar's NCP) has defeated Maha Vikas Aghadi (Congress, Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena and Sharad Pawar's NCP).
