Therefore, it is not correct to say that if someone takes paracetamol while drinking alcohol, it will have side effects. Paracetamol is a completely safe medicine and can be taken. If someone takes too much, it has side effects. Generally, no one takes more than one or two paracetamol pills in a day. There is hardly anyone who takes so many paracetamol pills at once. Therefore, one or two paracetamol pills will not cause any harm to alcoholics. On the other hand, if someone drinks too much alcohol and then takes paracetamol, then the complaint of headache or heaviness may be reduced. In this regard, if a person already knows that he will have a headache after drinking alcohol, then he can take paracetamol. However, a person who already has any liver disease should not use paracetamol without consulting a doctor.

How much paracetamol is harmful
Dr. Piyush Ranjan said that if a person takes 8 to 10 grams of paracetamol tablet in a day, it becomes poison. 8 to 10 grams of paracetamol means that one tablet is of 500 mg. That is, if someone takes 16 to 20 tablets for 8 grams, then it will become poison. This happens in America and Western countries. People do this to commit suicide. In America, it is difficult to buy other medicines directly from the shop, whereas paracetamol is easily available. Therefore, people take paracetamol in suicide attempts. Normally no person will take so many medicines together. At the most, two or three tablets are taken daily. This will not have any side effects on the body. Side effects will be seen only when a person takes an overdose i.e. 15-20 tablets together. If someone already has liver disease, then it can cause harm even with less than this. Therefore, two to three tablets have no side effects. However, if someone drinks alcohol regularly and takes paracetamol regularly, it can cause harm. This should not be done daily.

With or after alcohol
Dr. Piyush Ranjan said that if you take a paracetamol tablet after drinking alcohol then it will be more beneficial. If you feel that you are having a headache or your head is becoming heavy then use paracetamol. Dr. Piyush Ranjan said that there would be no side effects of taking one or two paracetamol tablets. It will only be beneficial. Even in liver cirrhosis disease, if the patient is having pain then we give paracetamol only. It does not have any side effects. Yes, if taken in excess then it will have side effects, otherwise not. To get rid of headaches, you can take any painkiller. Yes, do not take two tablets together.
