DMRC has already issued an advisory given the problems of the people. Train service on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro may be disrupted on 11 October 2024.
According to the information, train services will be affected for some time on the morning of 11 October due to maintenance work at Vishwavidyalaya station on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro. DMRC officials gave this information on Thursday. Yellow Line connects Samaypur Badli of Delhi to Millennium City Center of Gurugram. A large number of people travel on this route. The number of working people going from Gurugram to Delhi and Delhi to Gurugram is very high. The point is that Friday is also a working day.

DMRC officials said that train services will be controlled for some time till 6.25 am on Friday morning as part of pre-scheduled maintenance activities at Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station on the Yellow Line route. A senior official of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said that on Friday the first train service from Vishwavidyalaya to Millennium City Center will start at 6:29 am instead of 6 am and the first train service from Kashmiri Gate to Samaypur Badli will start at 6:40 am instead of 6 am.

A senior DMRC official further said that no train service will be available between Vishwavidyalaya and Kashmiri Gate metro stations. Vidhansabha and Civil Lines stations will remain closed till 6:25 am. However, he said that train services will remain normal on the rest of the sections of the Yellow Line from Millennium City Centre to Kashmiri Gate and Samaypur Badli to Vishwavidyalaya. Due to maintenance work, train services between Vishwavidyalaya and Kashmiri Gate metro stations were not available for 40 minutes from 6 am last Sunday.
