Congress Candidate Full List Haryana Election: Congress has released the first list of candidates for the Haryana assembly elections. There are 31 names in the Congress list. It includes the names of many veterans including Hooda. Former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda has been made the candidate from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi.

Congress has given tickets to female wrestler Vinesh Phogat, who joined today, from Julana. Bajrang Punia has not got the ticket. Congress state president Uday Bhan will contest from Hodal while Meva Singh will contest against Chief Minister Nayab Saini in Ladwa.

Many MLAs got tickets

Former Karnal mayor and sitting MLA from Sadhaura assembly constituency has been given the party ticket to contest again. Badli's sitting MLA Kuldeep Vats will contest to retain the seat he won in the 2019 assembly elections. Apart from this, sitting MLAs Pradeep Chaudhary and Shaili Chaudhary have been fielded from the Kalka and Narayangarh assembly seats respectively. They had won these seats in the 2019 elections.

28 MLAs got tickets

In all, the Congress has given tickets to 28 sitting MLAs out of the 31 announced so far. The list was released after the Congress Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting in Delhi. The meeting was attended by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, former party chief Sonia Gandhi, party general secretary in-charge organization K C Venugopal, All India Congress Committee (AICC) Haryana in-charge Deepak Babaria and Hooda, among others.
