Bilaspur. A major revelation has happened in the case of Dr. Pooja Chaurasia's death in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The CID investigation has proved that this is not a case of suicide but murder. Gym trainer Suraj Pandey has been found guilty of murder and rape. The negligence of Sirgitti police has also been exposed in this investigation. On March 10, 2024, the body of Dr. Pooja Chaurasia, posted in the district hospital, was found hanging from a noose in her house. Sirgitti police considered it a case of normal suicide and investigated it, but the deceased's mother Rita Chaurasia called it a murder and accused the police of serious negligence.

He got a private forensic investigation done, which confirmed that Pooja was raped before her death. Despite this, the police delayed taking action. Eventually, on the orders of the High Court, the investigation of the case was handed over to the CID.

Big revelation in CID investigation

The CID investigation revealed that gym trainer Suraj Pandey raped Pooja and then strangulated her to death with a scarf. The forensic report found that the neck bone was not broken and the length of the scarf was not sufficient for hanging. Pooja's body was found in the Vajrasana position, which confirmed the murder.

Pooja's mother had also expressed suspicion on Dr. Aniket Kaushik in this case, but the CID investigation did not find any evidence against Aniket. The CID has recommended filing a case against Suraj Pandey under sections of murder and rape. Meanwhile, this revelation has raised questions on the functioning of Sirgitti police. Now it remains to be seen what further action is taken against the accused Suraj Pandey.
