Bihar Police Bharti 2024: Passing the written exam for Bihar Police Constable Recruitment will not result in selection, rather the candidates selected in this exam will have to give two types of tests. The first of these is the Physical Standards Test (PST), under which the height, chest, weight, etc. of the candidates are measured. The second test is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Under this test, the candidates are made to run, high jump, shot put/shot put, etc. This exam is for a total of 100 marks, of which 50 marks are for running and 25-25 marks for the other two.

Different standards for each category
After the written examination of Bihar Police Constable, now it is the turn of the physical test. The Central Selection Board of Bihar Police (CSBC) has already set standards for height, chest, and running, under which different standards have been set for different categories.

What should be the height?
Only those candidates who will be in the Bihar Police Constable test whose height are as per the standard. Let us know what standards have been set for which category.
General and backward class men: Minimum height 165 cm.
Extremely backward class, scheduled caste and tribe men: Minimum height 160 cm.
EBC category candidates: Minimum height 162 cm.
Female candidates of all categories: Minimum height 155 cm.

What should be the chest width 
General/OBC/EBC category men:
Without inflation: 81 cm.
After inflation: 86 cm.
ST/SC category men:
Without inflation: 79 cm.
After inflation: 84 cm.

How much running will men have to do?
Male candidates will have to complete 1 mile (1.6 km) race in 6 minutes. Here also the standard is fixed as to who will be declared disqualified and how many marks will he get for how many minutes of running.
Time less than 5 minutes: 50 marks.
5 minutes to 5 minutes 20 seconds: 40 marks.
5 minutes 20 seconds to 5 minutes 40 seconds: 30 marks.
5 minutes 40 seconds to 6 minutes: 20 marks.
Time more than 6 minutes: Disqualified.

How much race for women?
Female candidates have to complete a 1 km race in less than 4 minutes.
4 minutes to 4 minutes 20 seconds: 40 marks.
4 minutes 20 seconds to 4 minutes 40 seconds: 30 marks.
4 minutes 40 seconds to 5 minutes: 20 marks.
More than 5 minutes: Disqualified.
