He took an auto-rickshaw and reached home.

2 more people caught in tampering with blood samples

A day earlier, Pune Police arrested two more people on charges of replacing blood samples in the Porsche car accident case. A police officer gave this information on Tuesday. Regarding the case, the officer had said that with the arrest of two more accused late on Monday night, the number of people arrested in the Porsche car accident case has increased to nine. Two other accused - Ashpak Makandar and Amar Gaikwad, who played the role of middlemen between the accused's father and the doctors for the transaction of money to replace the blood samples, were also arrested. Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar said on Tuesday morning, 'The blood samples of two minors present with the juvenile accused in the car were replaced with the blood samples of these two persons.'

What is the whole matter, know the update so far

A minor boy, allegedly driving in an inebriated condition, hit two IT professionals, including a woman riding a motorcycle, killing them in the wee hours of May 19 in Pune's Kalyani Nagar area. The boy's parents, the then head of the forensic medicine department Dr Ajay Tawade, Dr Srihari Halnor, and a Sassoon hospital employee Atul Ghatkamble have already been arrested for allegedly swapping the minor's blood samples with those of his mother.

Two other accused - Ashpak Makandar and Amar Gaikwad - who acted as middlemen between the accused's father and the doctors for exchanging money for the blood samples, were also arrested. Pune police recently filed a 900-page chargesheet against seven accused in the case.
