The case of rape and murder of a female doctor in Kolkata has reached the High Court. Meanwhile, the police have handed over the postmortem report to the family. There are shocking revelations in it. The postmortem report states that the accused raped the female doctor. After that, he strangled her and raped her again after her death. The report states that the victim died between three and five in the morning.

According to the postmortem report, blood was found in the private parts, eyes, and mouth of the female doctor. Apart from this, injury marks were also found on her lips, nails, stomach, legs, neck, and hands.

The matter reached the High Court

Meanwhile, in this case, senior BJP leader and advocate Kaustav Bagchi filed a petition in the Calcutta High Court on Monday. This petition will be heard on Tuesday. In the petition, there has been a demand to install CCTV cameras in all medical colleges, hospitals, and restrooms and to take strict action against the accused.

Along with this, two more PILs have also been filed in the Calcutta High Court. All the petitions have the same argument that the case should be investigated by an independent agency instead of the SIT of Kolkata Police. The division bench of Chief Justice TS Sivagnanam and Justice Hiranmay Bhattacharya has accepted all the PILs and the case will be heard on Tuesday. Let us tell you that the PIL was filed when Mamata Banerjee met the family of the deceased trainee doctor and said that if the police do not solve the case by Sunday, then the case will be handed over to the CBI.

What is the whole matter?

Let us tell you that a junior doctor was raped in Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College Hospital on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday. The deceased was a second-year student of the Department of Medicine in the medical college. After completing her duty on Thursday, the student went to have dinner with her friends.

After this, there was no trace of her. After this incident came to light, there was a stir in the medicine department. The body of the student was found in a semi-nude state in the seminar hall on the fourth floor. The mobile phone and laptop of the deceased student were also found on the spot. In the post-mortem report, injury marks were found on the mouth, both eyes, and private parts of the deceased woman. Apart from this, injury marks have been found in many parts of the body including the lips, neck, and stomach. Police said that strict action will be taken against the accused.
