New Delhi. The slogan 'If divided, they will be cut' is very popular these days. During the assembly elections to be held in two states, leaders of different parties are giving statements according to their own views to woo voters. In the election environment, politicians are not refraining from polarizing votes. They are also not behind in doing religion-based politics. Every party is not only trying to connect religion with politics in its own way, but also wants to get the votes of a particular religion in its favor and that is why many slogans like 'If divided, they will be cut' are being heard.
Religion is not a political issue and neither should it be brought into politics. In such a situation, it is not right for politicians to drag religion into the election environment. Whatever the religion, all talk about humanity, good intentions, and kindness. All religions teach us to live together, no one talks about dividing us. But in such a situation, the statements of politicians regarding elections do not seem appropriate. Along with politicians, saints, that and clerics have also started giving such statements. However, they need to understand that their job is to unite the country and not to give such controversial statements which spoil the atmosphere.
Storyteller Pandit Pradeep Mishra recently said, "Now we don't need to wake you up, you need to wake up. Now we will ask how many swords and spears are there in the houses of Sanatanis. There may be some in the house of a few people and even those must be rusted." Pandit Pradeep Mishra also attacked Maulana Tauqeer Raja, head of Ittehad-e-Millat Council. He said, "Recently a heretic said in Jaipur that we have stopped our youth, but he does not know that lakhs of people come to our stories and they can do a lot on our one command."
Maulana Tauqeer Raza also reacted to Pandit Pradeep Mishra's statement in which he said that if we let our people go, they can do a lot. Tauqeer Raza said, "I don't understand what kind of statement I have given. I have not talked about fighting. I have not talked about attacking anyone. It is our fundamental right to protest. The Constitution allows this. Religion has been insulted, Mohammed Saheb has been insulted. Anyone who supports wanted people is as much a criminal as the one who commits the crime. The government is protecting them, this is a very serious matter. I am not talking about myself, but a law of blasphemy should be made for all religions. He said that they can also do a lot, you are doing a lot. Your people are not under your control. We have strictly warned you not to take the law into your own hands."
