According to Forbes' real-time billionaire list, his wealth increased by $20.5 billion (7.73%) to $285.2 billion. Musk, the world's richest man, openly supported Trump's election campaign and also attended his rallies. In Indian currency, this amount will be Rs 1,72,86,40,538,350 (more than Rs 1.72 lakh crore). Let us tell you that Delhi's budget for 2024-25 is close to Rs 71000 crore.
Tesla shares rose 13% on Wednesday, pushing the stock price to $286.10 per share. Tesla shares have risen nearly 18% in the past two days. On the other hand, shares of rival EV maker Rivian fell 8%, Lucid Group dropped 4%, and shares of China-based NIO declined 5.3%.

After Trump's victory as the 47th President of America, the wealth of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos's wealth increased by $5.7 billion (2.62%), making him the second richest person in the world with a total wealth of $222.1 billion. Similarly, Oracle's Larry Ellison's wealth increased by $11.4 billion (5.47%), and he reached the third position with $220.5 billion.
Mark Zuckerberg's wealth declines
However, Meta's Mark Zuckerberg's wealth fell by 1.4% to $220 million, keeping him in fourth place with a net worth of $197.8 billion. The US stock market also saw a strong rally on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones rising 1,309 points (3%) to a new high. Apart from this, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq index also rose by 1.9%. According to analysts, Trump's clear victory infused positivity in the market, boosting investor confidence.
