Actually, scammers are adopting a new trick, which is being called brushing scam. For this, scammers are taking the help of popular online shopping sites like Amazon and AliExpress. Online scammers send such packages to people, which contain a cheap gadget or a small item, which they have not ordered.

These packages usually contain cheap and low-quality items such as jewelry or random gadgets. Scammers often use fake or stolen addresses to send packages. Once the goods are delivered, they write fake reviews to make the product look good and increase the seller's rating.

– They order their own products. They send the order to an address they have obtained illegally.
– A substandard product or poor quality electronic device is sent to any random person.
– As soon as the package is delivered, scammers write a very good review about the product and for this they use the name of the person for whom they had ordered the product.
– These scammers often send products like costume jewellery, seeds or cheap gadgets to increase their reviews and ranking. If you get an unwanted package at your doorstep, there is a high possibility that it is part of a brushing fraud.
