From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Kutch to Kamrup, the tricolor was seen fluttering with pride everywhere, but the enthusiasm for the celebration of Independence in Kashmir was different. Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha hoisted the tricolor at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar. A large number of Kashmiri schoolchildren participated in this ceremony. Thousands of youth and school children walked all over Srinagar carrying a 300-meter-long tricolor and shouting slogans of Meri Jaan Hindustan. This tricolor rally was taken out from Srinagar to Polo View and from here to Lal Chowk. Seeing the 300-meter-long tricolor along with the small flags held in hands, it seemed that the entire Lal Chowk area was wrapped in the tricolor.

The clouds of fear have dispersed. The students said that the Tiranga Rally is a message to the enemies of the country that the youth of Kashmir wants to move forward. They want to walk hand in hand with the country. There is no fear of any kind in Kashmir, a lot of changes have taken place in the last few years, due to which today people are openly participating in the celebration of independence without any fear.
