Akshay Shinde, accused of sexually harassing innocent girls in a school in Badlapur, Maharashtra, died on Monday. Akshay snatched a weapon from a police vehicle and opened fire, injuring a policeman. After this, the police retaliated, in which Akshay was shot. He was admitted to the hospital, where he died. This incident happened when the police were taking him from Taloja jail to Badlapur. 

Apart from sexual abuse in school, two other cases were also registered against Akshay. The police had got his custody from the court. This incident happened when the police were taking him back into custody. But on the way, he snatched the weapon of the policeman and started firing. 

There were allegations of sexual harassment of girls

Akshay Shinde was accused of sexually abusing two innocent nursery students in school. After his arrest, Akshay's wife filed a case against him. In this case, it was revealed that 26-year-old Akshay had been married three times. 

When no action was taken in this case, people protested against him in Thane's Badlapur. After this, the government came into action and the investigation of the case was given to the SIT. Bombay High Court is also hearing the case on its own initiative. To ensure strict punishment of Akshay, the state government has appointed Ujjwal Nikam, who had sent terrorist Kasab to the gallows.

I had confessed my crime to the doctor.

During the medical examination, Akshay Shinde confessed his crime to the doctor. This has also been mentioned in the chart sheet filed by the police. The case of sexual assault on two school girls came to light in August. After this, the SIT completed its investigation. Not only this, Akshay's wife has also accused him of having unnatural sex.
