Al-Fara Refugee Camp (West Bank):  After Gaza, Israel has now launched a major attack on the West Bank. A large-scale military operation has begun in the West Bank. Israeli army tanks and armored vehicles are running on the roads of the West Bank. This is the biggest operation of the Israeli army on the West Bank after Gaza. Israel fears that Hamas terrorists are still present here in large numbers. This morning the Israeli army also carried out an airstrike here, in which at least 9 Palestinians were killed.

Palestine claims that the Israeli army has surrounded the sensitive Jenin city from all sides. People are being asked to move to safer places. Palestinian officials gave this information. Let us tell you that Israel has attacked the West Bank almost every day since the Hamas attack on October 7. Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani, a spokesman for the Israeli army, said that "a large number of soldiers" have entered the sensitive Jenin city, which has long been a stronghold of terrorists. Along with this, soldiers have also entered the Tulkarim city and Al-Fara refugee camp. He said that all the nine people killed during this time were terrorists. Of these, three were killed in an air strike in Tulkarim and four in an air strike in Al-Fara.

Army caught 5 terrorists

Israeli forces arrested five other suspected militants during the military operation. Palestinian militant groups said their clashes with Israeli forces were continuing. Jenin Governor Kamal Abu al-Rab told Palestinian radio that Israeli forces had surrounded the city, closing exit and entry points, and blocking access to hospitals. The Palestinian Health Ministry in the West Bank said Israeli forces had blocked roads leading to a hospital and cordoned off other medical centers in Jenin. Shoshani said the army was trying to prevent militants from taking refuge in hospitals.

We will deal with the West Bank like Gaza

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz called for similar measures in the West Bank, comparing it with Gaza. "We must deal with the threat the same way we dealt with the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza, including temporarily removing Palestinian residents and taking every necessary step. This is a war by all means and we must win it," he said in a post on X. Shoshani said there were no plans to evacuate civilians. Hamas called on Palestinians in the West Bank to stand up against it, saying the attacks were part of a larger plan to expand the war in Gaza and blamed US support for Israel in the war.

Palestine is seeking US intervention

Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, condemned the attacks and urged the US to intervene, according to Palestine's official news agency. Israeli forces have killed more than 600 Palestinians in the West Bank since the war began in Gaza more than 10 months ago, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. Israel says the operation is needed to root out Hamas and other terrorist groups and prevent attacks on Israelis. The Palestinian Health Ministry said seven people were killed in another West Bank city of Tubas early on Wednesday and two in Jenin.

The ministry identified those killed in Jenin as Qasim Jabarin (25) and Asim Baloot (39). Israel captured the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem in the 1967 war. Palestinians want these three places back for a future country.
