Udaipur Violence : An incident of stabbing between students has come to light in a government school in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It is being told that a student studying in class 10 was attacked with a knife by his classmate. After this incident, communal tension spread in the area and many vehicles were set on fire. After the incident, a large number of police forces have been deployed on the spot.
Injured student admitted to ICU
Police said that the injured student admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the district hospital is a Hindu, while the accused is a Muslim. Immediately after the incident, members of Hindu organizations gathered in the Madhuban area of the city and protested. The reasons for the incident are not yet known. The accused has been arrested.
Several vehicles were set on fire
Police said that the angry mob set fire to three cars parked in a garage and pelted stones. Udaipur Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal said that additional police force has been deployed in the area to maintain law and order. He said that the accused had been arrested. District Magistrate Arvind Poswal said that the injured student is undergoing treatment in the hospital. He appealed to the people not to pay attention to rumors and maintain peace.
