After the Taliban took over Afghanistan, the US Army left behind many army weapons, Black Hawk helicopters, fighter planes, and tanks. Many of these weapons and tanks were junked. But now the Taliban has repaired them and made them 'Brahmastra'. Recently, pictures of these weapons, military vehicles, and tanks have been released by the Taliban, which shocked the world.
Three years ago, the Taliban took over the power of Afghanistan. The president and ministers here had to flee the country. After this, the US Army also gradually left from here. The US Army left behind weapons, equipment, and ammunition worth about 5.5 billion pounds i.e. about 60 thousand crores. It had 8,84,311 modern military equipment. These included infantry weapons like the M16 rifle, M4 carbine, and 82 mm mortar launcher along with various military vehicles, Black Hawk helicopters, A29 fighter aircraft, night vision, and communication equipment. The roar of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters was resonating in the sky above Bagram Airbase. While on the ground, a convoy of armored army vehicles and rocket-laden trucks was passing.
Weapons and tanks have been repaired.
Now the Taliban has repaired all these weapons and tanks one by one and has started using them. The Defense Ministry of the Taliban government said that hundreds of military vehicles, including tanks, have been repaired and made usable. Taliban mechanics have repaired 1145 army vehicles. The Defense Ministry did not say how long these tanks were not being used, but it definitely said that they had been lying in ruins for the last few years. These 1145 vehicles mostly include tanks, armored vehicles, ambulances, and small and big vehicles.
About a month ago, the Taliban also held a parade
of these weapons and celebrated. Pictures going viral on social media show uniformed soldiers flying helicopters and a convoy of armored trucks passing through Bagram Airfield. According to the Taliban Defense Ministry, thousands of vehicles have been repaired so far. Soon we will repair all the vehicles and full information about it will be shared.
