Noel Tata: After the death of Ratan Tata, Noel Tata was appointed as the new chairman of Tata Trust. Noel is the stepbrother of Ratan Tata. The board unanimously decided to make Noel the chairman of Tata Trust. In this way, Noel will now lead the charitable institutions of Tata Group. According to reports, in 2011, Noel Tata's brother-in-law Cyrus Mistry was declared Ratan Tata's successor. However, in 2016, Cyrus Mistry was removed from the post of Chairman of Tata Sons, and Ratan Tata temporarily resumed the role for four months until February 2017.
