New Delhi. The Supreme Court is hearing the rape-murder case of a trainee doctor that took place on August 9 at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College Hospital today. During the hearing, the CJI requested the doctors to return to work. He said that I know the condition of hospitals because I myself have slept on the floor when a family member was ill.
Mamata's embarrassment
While hearing the case, Justice Pardiwala made a strong comment on the state government. He said that the negligence with which the state government has worked in the case is something I have never seen in my 30 years of career. The behavior of the Bengal Police regarding the case is shameful. During this time, the Supreme Court also asked many questions about the Panchnama.
Question to Bengal Government
The court questioned the Mamata government that if it was a natural death then why was the postmortem done? FIR after the postmortem is surprising. SC asked West Bengal Police about the time of the postmortem. The Supreme Court said that this is very surprising because the postmortem takes place before the registration of unnatural death.
