Delhi Elections 2025: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia said that there is a list of what the Aam Aadmi Party will do in Delhi in the next 10 years. Works like education, health, electricity, water are just a few of the big works to be mentioned. In the hustle and bustle of the Delhi Assembly elections, Manish Sisodia had a special conversation with News18 about his election preparations from Jangpura seat to the whole of Delhi. He said that despite all the obstacles, the work that Arvind Kejriwal has done, people have faith that he will work in the future as well.

When asked what his future strategy is for Delhi, he said- Arvind Kejriwal has a vision for the next 10 years. Every woman will be given Rs 2100, priests will be given respect to granthis, elderly will be given free treatment… We have 10 years of work to show… We have helped in fighting inflation.

Sisodia hits back at BJP…

BJP asks why all this was not implemented in Punjab, on this question Manish Sisodia said, 'When we were making 200 units of electricity free, even then BJP was shouting that where will the money come from. Today BJP is also talking in many states. We started pilgrimage. This is Kejriwal's honest government where honesty is maintained even in tax collection. Only Arvind Kejriwal knows how he will fulfill his promises.' Countering him, he said that BJP has neither any election issue nor any agenda. There is no such work of any state government across the country which it can tell the people.

Is Aam Aadmi Party scared of the anti-incumbency wave..?

In response to this question, Manish Sisodia said that from 2015 to 2023, a lot of work was done in the capital. They put Arvind Kejriwal and me in jail and their intention behind putting me in jail was to stop the work. Arvind Kejriwal came out and started getting the work done again. People have faith that only Arvind Kejriwal can get the work done, BJP cannot.

On cutting the tickets of MLAs and changing the seat of Manish Sisodia…

In a detailed conversation, Sisodia said, 'In every election, a strategy is made as to who will contest from where. There is no hesitation in this, there is confidence. Where is BJP? They have neither a leader nor an issue. This is a serious issue…BJP workers are applying to cancel votes by writing the names of voters on their letterheads. We are fighting to win 70 seats and if I tell you after a very fair assessment, we will form the government very easily.

On the question of what factor you have for winning the Delhi Assembly elections, Sisodia said that our biggest winning factor is that we have worked for the people. In 10 years, Arvind Kejriwal ji, I, Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj have done a lot of work.

When we talked to the women registering for Mahila Samman Yojana in Kasturba Nagar Vidhan Sabha, the women said that we will have to wait and see when we will get this but now that registrations are happening, we are getting them done. Arvind Kejriwal has provided many facilities in the past, so we hope that we will get the benefit of this scheme as well. We also talked to the people above 60 years of age who got registered under Sanjeevani Yojana in Jangpura Vidhan Sabha. The elderly people present there said that they have also got the benefit of pilgrimage before this. This scheme is a good scheme and we think that we will get benefit from this as well.
