New Delhi: Cristiano Ronaldo has once again showcased his spectacular form and continued to perform for Al Nassr. In his team’s league game against Al Khaleej, not only did he score his 100th goal for Al Nassr, but he also netted his 918th career goal. The Super Sub from Portugal scored it remarkably well after being located by Otavio outside of the penalty box of Al Khaleej that resulted in him beating the goalkeeper at the 65th minute of the match. Al Nassr sorely needed that goal because they stotted quite poorly in the first half.

With these two goals, the player achieved his 12th and 13th of the season, thus drawing level with league top scorer Aleksander Mitrovic in the race for the golden boot. The player is doing exceptionally well this season as he has netted 18 goals in all competitions across 23 matches for the club. The former Real Madrid striker set the world alight last season, scoring 50 goals, which included 35 in the league, winning the Saudi golden boot. He surpassed Mitrovic by a whopping 7 goals.

Ronaldo is going all out to clinch his maiden title in Saudi Arabia.

His efforts in the last two seasons were indeed admirable but they failed to fetch him a single title in the Saudi Pro League. With all odds against him in his 39th year, Ronaldo is stepping up to lead his team to victory. And, unsurprisingly, it is clear that El Maestro is living up to his title. Al Nassr managed to secure a 2-1 victory over the opposing team, but were forced to concede the equalizer after Konstantinos Fortounis scored a penalty kick at the 80th minute mark.

Things were heating up when Sultan Al Ghanam placed Al Nassr back in the lead, and Ronaldo scored his thirteenth goal of the season, sealing the victory at 3-1 in injury time.
