when will 5G come

The Union Minister said that under 'Atmanirbhar Bharat', a 4G network with Indigenous technology is ready and in a few months its services will be available across the country through BSNL. Scindia said, many people had asked why when Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone started the 4G network, why not BSNL? It was the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that if we have to develop the network of a government company, then we will not use the equipment of China or any other foreign country. He said that it was decided that indigenous technology would be developed. India will develop its own 4G stack, core system, or tower called Radiation Access Network (RAN). It took us one and a half years. India has become the fifth country to have its own indigenous technology. The work of installing towers is going on.

How many towers

Scindia said that we will install 80,000 towers by the end of October and the remaining 21,000 by March next year. ...That is, by March 2025, one lakh towers of 4G network will be installed. He said that this will help in faster downloading and watching television. We can use 5G on this 4G core. We have to make some changes in the towers for 5G services and work is going on on this. We will soon complete the journey from 4G to 5G.
